Create an account with a Morse ID, choose whether to add an encrypted profile, and connect only with people you trust. No. You can create an account with just an optional PIN or biometric protection. No phone number, no email, no personal information required. You get a unique Morse ID that you can share with people you want to message. You do not need a SIM card either: Morse works on Wi-Fi alone.

Yes. Morse does not use phone numbers, so there is no SMS verification and no SIM card or mobile plan is needed. An internet connection is enough, and Wi-Fi counts.

Your PIN cannot be recovered. This is by design. Only you can unlock Morse on your device, and your messages and calls are end-to-end encrypted, so their content stays between you and the people you talk to. If you forget your PIN, you will need to create a new account. We recommend storing your PIN somewhere safe.

They do three different jobs. A PIN is optional: it locks the app on your phone, and only you know it. Your Morse ID is what you share so that people can reach you. An activation code is a prepaid way to pay for a year of Morse, as an alternative to an in-app subscription.

Conversation content is protected with end-to-end encryption based on the Signal Protocol. Messages, supported media, stickers, and calls are encrypted for the participants in the conversation. Morse servers relay encrypted delivery data and cannot read the conversation content.

Yes. Morse supports end-to-end encrypted photos, videos, albums, captions, voice messages, stickers, and location sharing. You can also use polls, quizzes, checklists, reactions, replies, forwarding, and pinned messages. Arbitrary document sharing is not currently supported.

You can set messages to automatically delete a set time after they are sent. Choose how long messages stay visible, from a few seconds to days. Once the timer runs out, Morse removes them from your device the next time you open the app, and the other person's Morse does the same on theirs.

Yes, they are the same app. You will see it called Morse Messenger, Morse Private Messenger, or simply Morse, and on the App Store it is listed as a private messenger. Whichever name you search, it is the same app described here: private messaging with no phone number required.

Share your Morse ID, username or QR code, or use an invitation. People can send you a request through your username only if you allow it. The other person accepts the contact request before a conversation begins. Morse does not upload your phone address book or list accounts in a public user directory.

Your Morse ID is permanently linked to your subscription. If you delete your account and try to register again with the same App Store or Google Play subscription, you will need to either use an activation code or cancel your existing subscription, wait for it to expire, and then purchase a new one. This policy ensures that one subscription is always tied to one Morse ID, preventing misuse and protecting account integrity.
