How is Morse encrypted?

Morse uses end-to-end encryption based on the Signal Protocol for messages, media, stickers and calls, with post-quantum key exchange (ML-KEM). Encryption keys are generated and stored on your device.

Can Morse read my messages?

No. Only the people in a conversation can read its messages. Morse servers relay encrypted data and have no way to read your content.

What is post-quantum encryption?

Morse hardens its key exchange with ML-KEM, a post-quantum algorithm, so messages captured today stay protected even against future quantum computers.

How does Morse protect my account without a phone number?

You create an account with a Morse ID and secure it with a PIN or biometrics. There is no phone number to hijack, and your data is encrypted at rest on the device.
