Terms
Terms of Service
Effective October 22, 2026 ¡ Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Transferhunt PTE. LTD., which operates Morse Messenger ("Morse"). By creating a Morse account or using Morse, you accept them and our Privacy Policy, and you agree to the rules below.
Rules for using Morse
Morse has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Accounts that break these rules are removed.
You agree not to use Morse to:
- send or share illegal content, including any content that sexually exploits or endangers children;
- threaten, harass, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone, or encourage violence or self-harm;
- attack people because of their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or similar characteristics;
- send sexual content to people who did not ask for it;
- spam, scam or defraud people, or pretend to be someone else;
- share someone's private information or images without their consent;
- infringe other people's rights, such as their copyright or trademarks;
- plan, promote or carry out illegal activities, such as terrorism, trafficking in people, or selling illegal goods or services like weapons or drugs;
- send malware, or attack, overload or break into Morse, its servers or other people's devices;
- collect information about other people, such as Morse IDs, or scrape Morse, by automated or unauthorised means;
- create accounts or send messages by automated means.
These rules apply to everything you send, in one to one chats and in groups.
Who can use Morse
You must be at least 18 years old to use Morse.
- You need a paid subscription or an activation code. One purchase gives one account.
- You may use Morse only where the laws that apply to you allow it.
Your account
We cannot recover an account or its messages.
Morse does not ask for a phone number, an email address or a name. Your account lives on your phone, protected by keys that are stored there and nowhere else.
You are responsible for your phone, your passcode and everything sent from your account.
If you lose your phone, use the panic button or delete your account, the account and its messages are gone, for you and for us.
Your controls
Someone who is not your contact can only send you a contact request: their messages and calls do not reach you until you add them or accept their request. Members of a group you are in can message you in that group.
You can block a person at any time. A blocked person can no longer reach you in a one to one chat or call you.
You can delete a message you sent, for everyone in the chat.
Reporting
Because Morse is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot see what you send. We do not scan your messages, and we cannot. We only see messages when someone reports them to us.
You can report a person or a group in the app: on their contact or group page, when you block them, or on a contact request. Your phone then sends us the last five messages that person sent you (in a group, the last five messages of the group), with their photos or files and when they were sent, sealed so that only the people who handle reports can read them. The person you report is not told. You can also report something through our contact form.
A person reviews every report, within 24 hours. If the content breaks these terms, we delete what is still on our servers and remove the account that sent it. A report is deleted once it is handled, and at the latest after 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
When the rules are broken
We may suspend or permanently remove an account that breaks these terms, without warning where the situation requires it. A removed account cannot be restored, its remaining paid period ends without a refund or compensation, and its purchase cannot be used to create a new account.
Where the law requires it, we report illegal content, such as content that sexually exploits children, to the competent authorities. Because we hold so little, we can only pass on the reported content and the limited account information described in our Privacy Policy.
Your content
What you send stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to deliver it: to keep it encrypted on our servers until it is delivered, and to pass it on to the people you send it to. We cannot read your messages or hear your calls.
The Morse apps
The Morse name, logo, apps and software belong to Transferhunt PTE. LTD.. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Morse apps under these terms, which ends when your use of Morse ends. Where we publish source code under an open-source licence, that licence applies to that code.
We release updates to fix problems, improve security and add features. Some updates are needed to keep using Morse: older versions of the app may stop working.
Some features need a recent version of Morse, on your phone and on the phones of the people you talk to. A message that an older version cannot show appears there as a notice to update the app.
Subscriptions
Morse is a paid service: every account needs a subscription or an activation code.
A subscription bought in the App Store or on Google Play renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown at that time, until you cancel it. By subscribing, you allow these recurring payments. If a subscription starts with a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
For these purchases your billing relationship is with Apple or Google, and their terms also apply. You cancel a subscription in your Apple or Google account settings. Morse keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, and you get no refund or credit for the remaining days.
Activation codes can be bought on our website, paid through our payment processor (Stripe), or from a reseller. Each code can be used once and gives access for the period stated when it was sold.
When your subscription or code runs out, you have two days to renew. After that Morse is paused: until you pay again, you can only renew or delete your account, and you cannot send or receive messages.
If we change the price of a subscription, we tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal.
If you got Morse from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
Refunds, taxes and fees
Purchases are generally not refundable. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are decided by Apple or Google under their rules; we cannot refund those ourselves. An activation code bought on our website can be refunded within 14 days of the purchase as long as it has not been used; ask for it through our contact form. A code that has been used cannot be refunded.
If you ask Apple, Google or your card issuer for a refund or a chargeback, you agree that we may tell them, or our payment processor, whether your account exists and was used, and the details of the purchase, so that your request can be decided.
Prices can include local taxes. The store, our payment processor or your bank may add their own commissions or exchange rates. Your internet connection and mobile data charges are your own.
Services from other companies
Some parts of Morse rely on other companies: push notifications go through Apple and Google, purchases through the App Store, Google Play and our payment processor (Stripe), and maps on the iPhone come from Apple Maps. Their own terms apply to their part.
Ending your use
Deleting your Morse account or the app does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or on Google Play.
You can stop using Morse at any time. You can delete your account in the app, or erase it at once with the panic button. A subscription bought in the App Store or on Google Play is cancelled in your store account.
We may end the service for an account as described above. If we stop offering Morse altogether, we will tell you in advance where we can.
The service
Morse cannot call emergency services. Make sure you have another way to reach them.
We work to keep Morse available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. A message is delivered when the recipient's phone can be reached; waiting messages and files are kept only for a limited time, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may change Morse, and add or remove features.
Morse is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the loss of messages or data. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
If you are in the European Union
These terms do not take away any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Reporting illegal content. Anyone, also without a Morse account, can tell us about illegal content through our contact form. Please give your name and email address, describe the content, explain why you believe it is illegal, say where you came across it, and confirm that you believe your report is accurate and complete. Your name and email address are not needed when you report content that sexually exploits children.
Our decisions. When we remove content or an account, we tell the person affected why, unless the law or the safety of others prevents it. You can ask us to look at a decision again through our contact form.
Point of contact. Users and authorities can reach us through our contact form, in English. You can also turn to the courts or the authorities of your country.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the Last updated date shown above. When the changes are significant, we let you know in the app and may ask you to accept the new terms before you continue. If you do not agree, you can stop using Morse and delete your account.
General
If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
